Cabbage Potato Sandwich 1917

This recipe was adapted from Salads and Sandwiches

Cabbage Potato Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 of a cold, boiled Russet potato

  • 1/4 cup of heart of cabbage

  • 1/4 onion 

  • Mayonnaise to taste

    Chop the cabbage and onion up very fine, also chop the potatoes. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly together, and blend in the mayonnaise. Season with salt and pepper to taste

    Plus up ideas: Dill or open it back up and brown sandwich filling side down in butter to get a crust
