Sardine Custard Sandwich 1925
This recipe was maladapted (halved) precisely from The Richmond Item newspaper
Sardine Custard Sandwich
Ingredients:
2 eggs
1/4 cup of sardines
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice.
Beat eggs slightly, add sardines, boned and left in pieces and seasoning, turn into a very small greased bread pan or small round tin, set in pan hot water and bake until firm.
